Off-Site PE Visits

Children attending a Thursday morning are charged £8.00 per week to attend an off-site PE visit to The Xcel Centre (usually 30 weeks per academic year).

Nursery Grant – 15 Free Hours (38 weeks per year)

We offer the Local Authority Nursery Education 3 and 4 year old grant.  15 free hours are available to all parents.  Please refer to the Nursery School office staff, or www.coventry.gov.uk (children and families section) for further information and your child’s eligibility.

Nursery Grant – 30 Free Hours (38 weeks per year)

We offer a limited number of 30 free hour places to parents who are eligible, on certain sessions. Please check if you are eligible to claim using the HMRC Government website: www.gov.uk/apply-30-hours-free-childcare.  Further information is available from the Nursery School office staff.

Extra charges are made for meals and snacks during funded hours.  Further information is available on request.

Notes:  Fees are calculated weekly and charged monthly in advance.  This will allow us to administer the weekly nursery grant itemising the 15 or 30 free hours where applicable and any additional hours you choose to take as a separate item.  Please take note that your monthly bill will not be the same each month because of the way the weeks fall, and because the nursery grant is only available for 38 weeks of the year.   Non eligible weeks remain payable at the full rate, as do weeks when your child is not eligible for the grant. The registration fee is waived for ”stand alone” funded places.  Uniform is not compulsory for a ”stand alone” place.

Childcare Vouchers

We are happy to accept payments from Employer Childcare Voucher schemes in advance. We are also registered with the Governments Tax-Free Childcare scheme, please check if you are eligible for this scheme using http://www.childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk

Payments

All fees must be paid in full (regardless of the payment method) by the 1st of each month to which they relate, although discretion is given until the 5th. We accept childcare vouchers, tax free childcare payments, credit and debit card payments.

A late payment charge of £27 is added to your account at 5pm on the 5th of each month if there is an outstanding balance of any amount. A child may be excluded until the account is brought up to date. If children are collected late, a charge of £27 per 10 minutes (or part of) will apply. Requests for bespoke letters (e.g. confirmation for Tax Credits, HMRC, etc) may attract a charge. See the Nursery Agreement for further information.

Fees are calculated weekly and charged monthly in advance. This will allow us to administer the weekly Government funded hours where applicable and any additional hours and/or charges. Please take note that your monthly bill will not be the same each month because of the way the weeks fall, and because the Government funding is only available for 38 weeks of the year.

Non funded weeks remain payable at the standard rates. Should an entitlement code provided by a parent prove invalid during a funded period, invoices will be calculated and issued without Government funding, using standard fees, and adjustments to prior months of that funded period made and be payable.
